| Firms have found the exclusive rights a
corporate cousin to USWest holds to publishing the phone
company's yellow pages does not prevent them from
profiting from businesses advertising in that medium.
That applies to the Washington based WestPage
Advertising Agency, which recently expanded into
Utah. The firm's primary business is selling yellow
pages "consulting service" to businesses.
WestPage Advertising Agency will teach a business how
to decide how much or how little advertising space to buy,
and how to word it. Sales representatives will
design the ads and then submit it for their client to
USWest Direct for inclusion in the Yellow Pages. |
